The job

How it works

Three steps. The first one is the whole trick.

  1. Filter the water

    Tap water is full of dissolved minerals — that's what dries into those white spots on your glass. My filtration system pushes it through a deionizing filter until the meter reads 000 parts per million. What comes out is water with nothing in it at all.

  2. Scrub and rinse from the ground

    A water-fed pole puts a soft brush and a stream of that pure water against your glass — first floor, second floor, third floor — while my feet stay on your lawn. I scrub the frame, then the pane, then rinse everything top to bottom.

  3. Let it dry

    No squeegee, no towels, no soap. Pure water has nothing to leave behind, so it sheets off and dries spotless on its own. That's not a trick of the light — it's just what water does when there's nothing in it.
